A lot of you have been emailing me to ask when book three of The Fringe will be released, so I thought I’d give everyone a little update on how that’s going.
I’m excited to say that I finished up the first draft of the book yesterday morning, and I’ll do my first read-through this week. For me, the editing process takes longer than actually writing the book, but I write fast. (Between outline and first draft, writing the book took me 40 days, but I got a little behind because I’ve been fighting a nasty bout of sickness.)
Yes, I’m being purposely vague by saying “Summer 2015,” but that’s because I really won’t know how long it will take until I start editing. I have more time now to devote to Fringe three, but the book still has to spend some time with beta readers and my editor.
For those of you who are anxious to read the next book, here are some fun teasers to get you pumped:
- Book three picks up right where Exposure left off with Harper and Celdon.
- Big secrets will be revealed about 119 and Harper’s and Eli’s history.
- Things get hot and heavy between Harper and Eli…and I’m not talking about the desert.
- I’m playing with chapters written from Celdon’s and Sawyer’s perspectives to provide a bigger picture of what’s going on in different parts of the compound.
Because the book is so rough right now, I can’t release the first chapter yet. But make sure you join my mailing list to stay up-to-date on the latest Fringe happenings and get the inside scoop on the release. And as always, feel free to reach out and let me know what you thought of books one and two. I always love to hear from readers.
