Allegiant (Divergent Book 3)
Release Date: October 22
To tide us over until the first “Divergent” movie release in March, Veronica Roth’s captivating trilogy will be coming to an end. We’ll finally get to go beyond the fence and reenter the world with Tris and Four, and it should be fun to experience the book from their dual perspective as they rebuild the trust between them, cope with the loss of their friends, and test the new world they will be building with the factionless.
Horde (Enclave Book 3)
Release Date: October 29
The Enclave trilogy definitely got much less hype than “Divergent,” but the world building and the characters are phenomenal. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, I highly recommend it. I devoured the first two books and have eagerly been awaiting book three for almost a year. Salvation is at war with the freaks, but Deuce isn’t just fighting for her enclave anymore — she’s fighting for humanity, she’s fighting for Fade, and she’s still a huntress at heart, so she’s going to be kicking ass.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Release Date: November 22
Even non-dystopian fans will be coming out to see “Catching Fire” this fall. I know I’ll be at the midnight release, and I’m very excited to see the new characters in action onscreen, admire the meticulous set design (and Liam Hemsworth), and hear the new soundtrack. We have a district uprising on our hands, and I’m dying to see Jennifer Lawrence playing Katniss again.
If you simply can’t wait until October or November, I’m very pleased to announce that my novel, “The Defectors,” will be released this month. It’s the first book in a new adult dystopian trilogy, and I’ve been working hard to perfect the first and get the next book written.
I’ll be running a free promotion for the first two days when it comes out so my friends, followers, and beta readers who have stuck with me throughout the process can download the finished product.
